Why: She’s bringing her 2010 self-titled debut of dark, No Wave meets Nico art-pop to North America for the month of October.

Who else: Slowdance are up with the intention of getting people to dance. Slowly.
How: Tickets for the show are $16.50 in advance but courtesy of Embrace, I have two pairs of passes to give away for the show. To enter, email me at contests AT chromewaves.net with “I want to see Anika” in the subject line and your full name in the body. Contest closes at midnight, October 5.
