A Better Version Of Me
Notice anything different? No? That’s probably because I couldn’t come up with any sort of design changes of any earth-shattering ideas, and really – if you’re not shattering the earth, then what’s the point? So I’ve settled for tweaking the colours – the background grey is a little lighter now and the text against it is more readable (hopefully) and there’s snazzy blue trim – lets call them racing stripes – between the black header and footer.
It’s Malibu Stacy, and she’s got a new hat!
I still intend to overhaul this thing completely, though.
No band practice this week, which suits me fine, as I’m pretty beat after work. Apparently Pheobe Electric Shoes has consented to be our drummer, this is good news. What this’ll do to our rehearsal schedule, I dunno, but if actually start making progress musically then I’ll show up at midnights on Saturday nights if need be.
I am just tired. Geez.

Ego Tripping At The Gates Of Hell
I took the first half of my lunch hour at 12:15. I am just finishing the second half now. In between things just got nutty.
I think I need to redesign this site. The duo-tone scheme is kinda drab and I’m getting bored of the look. Stay tuned.

Theme From Retro
Pitchfork has, in lieu of Monday’s news, posted their list of the Top 100 albums of the 80s, or more accurately, numbers 100-51.
I am batting a meagre 0.160 right now, with a few base on balls or hit by pitches as I have some of the material represented on compilations and whatnot (Mission Of Burma, Leonard Cohen, etc). I anticipate a better showing tomorrow, though.

70 – Elvis Costello & The Attractions / Trust

My Morning Jacket
Because smartass Kyle asked, here’s a picture of my new coat. Want a better look? Come downtown. Bring my CDs while you’re at it.
Didn’t make it to the Annex this afternoon after all, ended up meeting a friend for coffee. Which is fine, the last thing I need to be doing right now is spending more money. Apparently I should be thinking about Christmas shopping. Huzzah.
The snow has finally let up. I don’t think we got the 20-25 cm predicted but it’s pretty wet out there. It’ll all be gone within a couple days, though – highs of 2 to 3 degrees with rain forecast starting Tuesday. Kinda makes you wonder what the point of it all is, realy.
I have my Top 10 for 2002 selected. I’ll post the results soon. I know everyone is on pins and needles waiting…
