What: French duo who make electro-rock in the way that only the French seem to be able to; I heard excellent things about them at SXSW and deliberately avoided them so that I could have something to build my Saturday CMF schedule around.
Why: Their second album Alesia just got a North American release last week and they’ve been doing the Spring festival circuit to get people excited about it.
When: Saturday, March 24, 2012
Where: Wrongbar in Toronto (19+)
Who else: They’re anchoring a dance-friendly lineup that includes The Breezes, Light Fires, Nightbox and Grahmzilla
How: Tickets for the show are $15 in advance with limited room for festival wristbands, but courtesy of Wrongbar, I’ve got five pairs of passes to give away for the show. To enter, email me at contests AT chromewaves.net with “I want Housse de Racket” in the subject line and your full name in the body, and have that in to me by 5PM on Friday evening.
