CONTEST – Ra Ra Riot @ Lee's Palace – September 11, 2009

Photo By Frank YangFrank YangThe second week of September in Toronto means two things – the Toronto International Film Festival and Ra Ra Riot being in town. Okay, as far as the latter goes, two years in a row hardly counts as an annual tradition but their September 11 date at Lee’s Palace comes just more than a year exactly from their last headlining date at the Horseshoe last Fall. Not their last visit, though – they opened up for Death Cab For Cutie at the Sound Academy back in the Spring.

Anyways, the point is this – the Syracuse quintet is coming back, still in support of their debut full-length The Rhumb Line, and presumably still with a tremendous live show. And courtesy of Against The Grain, I have two pairs of passes to give away to said show – to enter, email me at contests AT chromewaves.net with “I want to Ra Ra Riot” in the subject line and your full name in the body and get that in to me before midnight, September 8.

Examiner.com has an interview with Ra Ra Riot bassist Mathieu Santos.
